About the title

The title of this site is a combine of a great book named “programming pearls” and an old saying in China which goes like “The sand accumulates to form a pagoda”.

About me

I was borned and lived in China until I was 27 years old. Life there is hard but peaceful. One day it occured to me that if I keep live like this I can see what my life will be in the future,Being busy but not really creating something or knowing new things. I’ve studied English and Japanese hard at school, so why not use it to talk with people in different country, why not just get out of comfort zone and learn new things. luckily, I’ve got a chance to work overseas, so here I am, Tokyo.

About Programming Language

In my opinion, there is no “Best Language” in programming world. Each Language was invented because language existed doesn’t fit the need of the inventor to some extent. I’ve been tried many languages, the following table is the detail.

Language Level
C++ ★★☆☆☆
C ★★★★☆
MATLAB ★★★☆☆
JAVA ★☆☆☆☆
C# ★★☆☆☆
PYTHON ★★★★☆
JavaScript ★☆☆☆☆
Dart ★★★☆☆

explanation

  • one star: this language was used in my personal case.
  • two star: this language was used in internal tools when working for company.
  • three star: this language was used in commercial case or in published personal case.
  • four star: the language satisfied above condition which I have confidence in .
  • five star: the level I have never reached until now ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

About Natural Language

It really opened a new door for me by learning English. In some fields, knowing English is a plus, where in other fields, English is a must. At first, I was kind of forced to take English lessons, because it’s decided by the goverment, It was lucky that I getting fond of Learning English while most of my classmate hate it. On the other hand, I learned Japanese out of interest. I must admit that interest is the best teacher, because I master Japanese so quickly that it only took 2 years for my Japanese level to catch up with my English level which I’ve been learned since I was 10. Definitely, my language level of English and Japanese was far from satisfying, and I will keep learning these language as a whole life course.

About My Interest

After work, I like visiting museum, taking photos and cooking.
